 School Profile

Ivor Dent School serves the families formerly served by Lawton, R.J. Scott, and Rundle Schools. Located next to the Rundle School building, Ivor Dent is a new school in an existing mature and diverse neighborhood. The learning communities of all three schools, along with the broader community, were very supportive of this replacement school from the outset. Our neighbors are at various stages in their lives; our students come from a variety of backgrounds and have had diverse experiences in their young lives.  The All in for Youth support provided by E4C, The Family Centre and BGCBIGS, as well as the support provided through other partners, has been instrumental in improving the learning opportunities and outcomes for our students.
